You make a very valid point, the PRA paper has a typo in equations (83
a, c). This is somewhat strange, since the corresponding Eq. (108 ) in
the preprint version of this paper, quant-ph/0301052, is correct. The
statement in my thesis — Eq. (2.84) — is also correct.

Typo is quite normal in PRA 🙂 but I guess it’s not the case in PRL or Nature. I had experiences (but not with PRA) in typo things, even worse .. happened in final version though I’d already made correction in the accepted version.
